Who am I

I am one of those lucky few that got to take part in the transition from the late beginnings of the digital age into the internet age.

It was a very free and amazing time to be a software developer. No one fully knew what we were doing, so we were just creating things.

We got to witness the public birth of the internet and see our newly connected world transitioned from mostly texted based bulletin boards systems to rich and very capable graphical system like we have today.

For me and many of my fellow tech-heads, we always dreamed to be able to own a fast 2400 baud modem or even one of the blazing fast 28800 ones. Our PCs were often hand built with the fastest processor, largest amount of memory and biggest hard drive that we could afford. Keep in mind a 100 megabyte (that is right megabyte) drive in those days cost right around $1,000 and took up two slots in your three slot drive bay.

For me it was a great adventure of discovery and walking into the unknown. That time has passed and that journey soured. So, now I have started a new adventure of discovery and walking into the unknown as a content creator.

While some might say that it is too late to start that journey or you are simply too old. The truth is it is never too late or too old, if you simply start.
